High 5 Safety was founded by Chloe McKone, an experienced Health, Safety & Compliance professional with a track record across hospitality, education and public sector organisations.
She specialises in simplifying complex regulations into clear, practical steps that support safe, smooth and confident business operations.
Chloe believes health & safety isn’t about red tape - it’s about people. With High 5 Safety, she helps businesses build clarity, confidence and a positive safety culture.
Chloe’s story
"Every step of my career has given me the confidence, competence and drive to help real businesses with real-world safety challenges. And that’s exactly why I created High 5 Safety.
After 17 years in education, life took me in a completely new direction. A very memorable ski season in the Alps led to my first Health & Safety role with a travel company, and it was there that I realised how much I loved helping people feel safe, supported and confident, in addition to supporting businesses to maintain compliant settings.
Having recognised that to be truly effective in this field, I needed hands-on experience across a wide range of environments. And looking back, I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunities to hone my craft. Hotel inspections, the prison service, public sector risk management, hospitality tech, compliance consultancy - all culminating in my role as Head of Compliance for a large, reputable hotel group.
These experiences have shaped the way I work today and form the principles of High 5 Safety."
